This energy efficient Comfort Glow infrared quartz comfort heater provides 5,120 BTU of heat per hour and includes 8 energy efficient quartz tubes. Beautiful Auburn Oak wood finish looks great in any room. The high velocity cage type built-in blower helps spread soothing infrared heat evenly throughout the room. Includes a full function remote control with a programmable timer function. Easy read comfort control panel enables you to easily see the temperature, even from across the room. Adjustable thermostat enables you to set the temperature that best suits your preference. After powering off the heater will continue to run for a few minutes for a "cool down" cycle. This helps extend component life. The cool touch cabinet permits use around children and pets. How does it work Cool air is drawn into back of heater and through an air filter. Clean air then passes through the powerful, cage style fan. Hot air is created when it passes through the quartz heating elements and copper heat conductors to provide optimum warmth. Soothing infrared heat then circulates into the room. Infrared heat reduces total home heating costs when used as directed.
