AICD250-1 is an insulated inline splice made from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum, dipped in black dielectric plastisol and prefilled with an oxide inhibitor to prevent rusting. Plugs are marked with minimum and maximum wire size for easy identification, cool temperature rated at -45°C, and accepts 6 AWG to 250 MCM CU or AL solid or stranded wires. Using a multi tap connector saves time compared to wrapping wires with electrical tape. This insulated connector is cULus Listed, UL Listed 486B and rated at 60-Volt.
