This genuine AprilAire replacement filter is designed specifically for AprilAire 1870, 1872, or E130 Whole-Home Dehumidifiers. It is compatible with all variations of these models including, 1870-Watt, E130C, and E130H, ensuring proper fit, safe operation, and manufacturer‑specified performance. A dirty or clogged filter can restrict airflow, reduce system efficiency, and lead to overheating or unexpected shutdowns. This filter is MERV 8 rated to balance everyday particle capture with consistent airflow, helping protect internal components while maintaining reliable dehumidifier performance. Follow the recommended maintenance schedule to keep your system operating at peak performance. Every 6 months, or when the Clean Filter service reminder illuminates on your AprilAire unit, remove and wash or replace the filter as needed. The washable design allows for easy cleaning with water and mild detergent. Simply rinse clean, shake off excess water, and reinstall directly into the dehumidifier. No drying time is required. The filter has nominal dimensions of 14 in. x 19 in. x 1 in. and features durable aluminum mesh surrounding a foam core inside a reinforced aluminum frame. A reversible design allows installation facing either direction when properly aligned with the retention rails. Package includes 1 (1) Model 5569 Filter.
