AF-1001 - Sediment Filter Cartridge is replacement cartridge for the 1st stage in Anchor Reverse Osmosis and Under-sink Water Filtration Systems. It also fits any system that has 10 in. standard-sized housing. This 10 in. 5-micron polypropylene sediment pre-filter extracts suspended materials such as sediment, rust, insects, and other particles down to 5 microns. This cartridge also extends life of other, more expensive cartridges and prevents damage. The filter cartridge is easy to install and should be replaced about every 3 months (or when there is about 10psi pressure drop) for consistent clean and refreshing water.
