AF-1000 - Carbon Block Cartridge is a replacement cartridge for AF-3000 Countertop Filter, AF-4003 Undersink System, and AF-5000 Series - Reverse Osmosis Systems. It also fits any system that has 10 in. standard-sized housing. This 10 in. 5-micron solid carbon block filter cartridge absorbs heavy chlorine and its byproducts such as THM, and TCE. The carbon briquette filters out organic matter from water without release of carbon fines. Unique pore structure of this carbon is well suited for chemicals absorption, including SOCs such as pesticides and dioxins, and VOCs such as chloroform and petrochemicals. The filter cartridge is easy to install and should be replaced about every 3 months for consistent clean and refreshing water.
