The wall bracket helps to secure the chimney in place when mounted to a structure or wall. The wall bracket provides lateral stability while maintaining a 2 in. clearance to combustibles. It does not support the weight of the chimney system. A wall bracket is required a minimum of every 8 ft. of vertical height.
